Hi there, I’m Tim.

There’s a few things that I think you should know about me and some more important facts down below.

So first off, I was born and raised in Whitstable and now live in Canterbury and I just love spending my free time going out on walks or exploring different parts of the Kent coastline. As well as that, I’m a super sentimental guy. I cry watching films or listening to books (I’m such a slow reader I have to do everything on audiobook) and I love the emotional response that stories generate in us. Not only do I love stories, but I love the storytelling element that there is in documentary photography, which I guess is one of the reasons I’m so drawn to it.

As well as being super sentimental, I just really love people. This really influences the way I approach not only a wedding, but all my photography in general. I love capturing moments of human connection and having those interactions frozen in time. I think of it as being a bit like the pensieve from Harry Potter - where the photos I take can transport someone back to moment they were in and they can then remember all the sounds and smells and sights, getting completely lost in the memory the that photo captured.

There is a lot more to me, but I have tried to distil some of the things about me into bite-sized post it notes that you can check out below.
