NAOMI AND NATHAN’S WEDDING AT HAMILTON ROAD EVANGELICAL

I had such an amazing time photographing Naomi and Nathan’s wedding. The bridal prep couldn’t have been more relaxed and, with time to spare, Naomi actually ended up watching some TV with her bridesmaids and dad while she waited for the car to pick her up.

The whole day continued in the same manner - it was such a relaxed and community driven wedding. With the wedding being at Hamilton Road Evangelical, the church where Nathan’s dad is pastor, the ceremony was a much longer one than you would normally get at a venue wedding which I really like. As a Christian, it means that I get to worship while I am working which is great; secondly, it gives me a lot more time to get different shots of guests and look for different moments to capture which is always fun. Less time pressure is always a good thing.

I was so grateful to have been able to shoot their wedding and the couple portraits down on the beach in the evening were so much fun. It was quite windy, but that just added to the drama of the moment and was the perfect way of finishing off their special day.
